About This Position

Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Social, Display & Video

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Performance Marketing Lead, Paid Social, Display & Video in the United States.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead and scale visual performance marketing channels across desktop and mobile, including Paid Social, Display, and Video. You will manage a small but highly impactful team while remaining hands-on, driving campaign strategy, creative testing, and data-driven optimization. This position blends leadership with execution, giving you direct influence over acquisition performance, incrementality testing, and mobile app growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Creative, and Marketing teams to deliver cohesive growth initiatives. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment, and are passionate about connecting creative insights to measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

As the Performance Marketing Lead, you will shape strategy, oversee execution, and mentor a small team to maximize growth and efficiency:

  • Lead performance strategy and execution across Paid Social, Display, and Video channels to drive acquisition and engagement on desktop and mobile.
  • Manage and mentor 2–3 channel specialists, providing guidance on strategy, day-to-day decisions, and career development.
  • Own mobile acquisition campaigns, including measurement, optimization, and experimentation across app campaigns and inventory.
  • Build and maintain a data-driven creative testing framework linking concepts to performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, and incrementality.
  • Develop a unified cross-channel roadmap aligning testing, budgeting, and insights across Paid Social, Display, and YouTube.
  • Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, Creative, and Product Marketing to design experiments, enhance attribution, and translate data into improved channel strategies.
  • Monitor and communicate channel performance, surfacing opportunities, risks, and insights to leadership while optimizing toward LTV/CAC, CPA, and incrementality goals.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a blend of leadership, analytical rigor, and hands-on performance marketing expertise:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing with deep expertise in Paid Social, Display, and Video across desktop and mobile.
  • Proven experience in mobile acquisition, measurement, and optimization, including app campaigns, MMPs, SKAN, and creative testing for app growth.
  • Track record of connecting creative, data, and channel strategy to drive measurable business outcomes (LTV/CAC, CPA, incrementality).
  • Experience managing and developing small teams, providing coaching, feedback, and performance guidance.
  • Comfortable as a working manager, balancing long-term strategy with detailed performance diagnostics and experiment design.
  • Strong analytical skills with familiarity in SQL, experimentation frameworks, and incrementality testing.
  • Hands-on experience with major performance platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and collaborating with external vendors or creative agencies.
  • Highly collaborative, experienced working cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Data-driven, experiment-oriented mindset, embracing continuous improvement and innovation in marketing practices.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation with market-based salary ranges: Zone 1: $152,000–$209,000, Zone 2: $137,000–$188,000.
  • Remote work flexibility across the United States.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits.
  • Disability and life insurance options.
  • 401(k) or RRSP matching.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • 20 days of PTO per year, 12 paid holidays, two floating holidays, and flexible sick leave.
  • Generous stipends for caregiving, wellness, home office, and more.
  • Annual professional development budget and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages experimentation and innovation.
