Sr. Data Engineer - Remote
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the data infrastructure critical for AI-driven initiatives. By connecting complex datasets with business objectives, youll provide the necessary insights that drive strategic decisions on a global scale. Accountabilities- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to design comprehensive data solutions.
- Design, develop, and manage robust data models in Snowflake and Iceberg utilizing dbt and advanced SQL.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Airflow, Python, and Terraform.
- Implement data quality measures, testing, and governance practices to uphold data integrity.
- Act as Product Owner for your data domains, overseeing entire data product delivery.
- Integrate AI capabilities to innovate data infrastructure and democratize analytics.
- Establish monitoring frameworks to proactively identify and resolve data issues.
- 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in SQL with a strong background in developing complex data models.
- Expertise in Snowflake and familiarity with Open Table Formats like Iceberg.
- Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Proficient in Python for programming and AWS as your cloud platform.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants to streamline development tasks.
- Strong analytical skills to tackle ambiguous business problems with data.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently.
