$32.00-$35.00/hour

What is a Production Shift Supervisor?

The Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production operations during a specific shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of manufacturing activities. This role leads frontline employees, coordinates workflows, and addresses real-time production issues to maintain continuity across shifts. The position plays a critical role in driving team performance, maintaining operational consistency, and ensuring production targets are met.

What You Can Expect to Do as a Production Shift Supervisor:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities during assigned shifts
• Lead and support operators, leads, and production personnel
• Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently and on time
• Monitor processes and enforce adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
• Troubleshoot production issues and support immediate problem resolution
• Train, coach, and develop team members on shift
• Maintain accurate production records and shift reports
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Communicate shift performance, issues, and updates to leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What We Are Looking For in a Production Shift Supervisor:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Previous supervisory or lead experience
• Strong understanding of production processes and workflows
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends if needed
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational performance
