Job Summary :
The Janitor Lead is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of all LCDF facilities. Reporting to the Facility Management and Operations Administrator, this role ensures that janitorial staff maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation across clinical, administrative, and public areas. The Supervisor manages daily operations, schedules, and supply inventory, and serves as the primary point of contact for janitorial concerns. This position plays a vital role in supporting a safe, welcoming, and compliant
environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Core Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills to effectively manage janitorial staff across multiple
- facilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and supervisors.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and ordering janitorial supplies.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to facility cleanliness concerns or emergencies.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Capable of training staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
