About This Position
Scope:
The Bi-Lingual Universal Banker II will effectively assist bank customers with all bank products and services with an emphasis on the Hispanic community.
Accountabilities:
The Bi-Lingual Universal Banker II will:
· Be knowledgeable on, promote and advise on the bank’s products and services
· Communicate tactfully and cordially to encourage satisfaction with our service.
· Assist customers to resolve any question or concern with deposit products and their accounts.
· Be knowledgeable on CIP procedures and regulations.
· Attract and build customer relationships.
· Complete all follow-up work including check ordering, debit card ordering and activation and E-product servicing.
· Work with credit card customers in all aspects from application to troubleshooting.
· Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential.
· Complete all customer activity tracking spreadsheets and other forms as requested by management.
· Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank products.
· Ensure compliance with all internal controls with established policies and procedures.
· Resolve issues and problems with customer’s accounts.
· Provide full service on customer and business accounts including account opening, CD’s, IRA’s, HSA’s, etc.
· In some instances, act as a teller with accountabilities listed below:
· Receive and count working cash, identify customers, validate and cash checks, accept cash and checks for deposit and check all documents for accuracy.
· Comply with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions.
· Receive and verify all forms of payment and record all transactions accurately.
· Balance the vault, ATM and cash drawers.
· Sell and buy money from the Federal Reserve. (Branch)
· Order supplies.
· Possess the ability to life up to 50 lbs.
· Participate in community activities as needed and any other activities that may arise.
· Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements:Qualifications:
Education:
· 2-year Associates degree in business related field or commensurate experience in banking
· Specific banking industry education a plus
Experience:
· 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
