Job Overview:

The Nursing Supervisor acts as an administrative liaison and coordinates patient care activities. Requires ability to recognize priority situations, act, and make appropriate decisions. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality and efficient care. Facilitates timely transfer of patients to designated clinical areas. Utilizes escalation process to resolve issues/problems. Utilizes bed prioritization process criteria to ensure patient flow and admission. Excellent communication, leadership ability, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BSN required
• Excellent communication, leadership ability, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required

Preferred:

• MSN preferred
• Two years experience in supervision preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS required
• Current New Jersey RN license

Scheduling Requirements:

• Night shift, per diem
