Job Overview

Diamond State Masonry Inc is seeking a skilled Mason Tender to join our Field Operations team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience assisting masons by building scaffolding, mixing mortar, and supporting bricklaying operations. This role is essential to keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining safety and productivity on commercial, industrial, and government job sites.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Mason Tender, you will:

  • Build, dismantle, and maintain scaffolding for masonry projects.
  • Mix mortar and deliver materials to bricklayers and masons.
  • Supply brick, block, and other materials to crews in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist masons with layout and preparation of work areas.
  • Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
  • Support production goals by maintaining a steady flow of materials and assistance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a mason tender or in a related construction support role.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry materials, mortar mixing, and scaffold building.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (50lbs+) and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working overtime and weekends as needed.
  • No formal education required; hands-on experience and skills are most important.

Schedule
