Successful candidate will need to be able to manage technical requirements to meet delivery dates for financial mission enabling applications. A firm understanding of Agile practices and the ability to manage high functioning software developer teams is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $175,845 - $237,908. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

A firm understanding of Agile practices and the ability to manage high functioning software developer teams is required.
Mandatory Skills:
- Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the program.
- Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
- Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
- Serves as the team's primary Point of Contact for assigned technical actions and data calls.
- Develops and presents technical briefings for Engineering Review Boards, documenting proposed solutions and/or system design changes.
- Collaborates with the development team to define options and provide recommendations to the client for technical solutions.
- Collaborates with the customer on project plans, resource allocation, and approaches for technical requirements.
- Assists with high level technical services on assigned tasks, which may include system health monitoring, support for system scans, terminating/starting servers, updates to technical documentation, and support for security accreditation tasks.
- Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
- Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile practices and software development best practices
- Experience with AWS services
- Fundamental software development skills used by the team (Java, JavaScript, ServiceNow, relational databases)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience: 15+ years
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: Chantilly, VA customer site
- US Citizenship Required
