- Own sales targets and revenue goals for assigned U.S. territories and accounts.
- Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key Aerospace & Defense customers.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities in emerging technologies and programs.
- Collaborate with engineering to customize product designs and specifications to meet client requirements.
- Provide customer feedback to influence product development and innovation.
- Support bid and proposal efforts, including technical input and pricing recommendations.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences, including occasional international travel.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of technical sales experience in interconnect systems, RF/microwave, cable assemblies, or other engineered components.
- Proven success in business development and account management within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
- Experience supporting DoD contractors, prime contractors, and major OEMs preferred.
- Working knowledge of interconnect manufacturing, cable assemblies, and custom engineered solutions.
- Understanding of A&D procurement cycles, program lifecycles, and compliance requirements (ITAR, DFARS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong negotiation and strategic account management abilities.
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications and discuss engineering solutions effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and data-driven sales reporting.
