Founders 3 Management Company and F3 Marina is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the Halifax Marina. The preferred work schedule for this position 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekends required.

Responsibilities include:
Routine Maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting:

• Inspect and maintain the docks, piers, dock lighting, security systems and other marine structures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance.
• Assist groundskeepers with overall curb appeal of the property.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs as needed.

Boat Handling and Customer Service:

• Assist boat owners with docking, launching, and mooring their vessels.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of marina facilities and equipment.
• Assist in emergency response procedures, including fire safety and first aid.

The ideal candidate will possess:

· Experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field

· Knowledge of boat handling techniques and marina operations, preferred

· Proficiency in using hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

· Valid driver’s license
