Wastewater Operator – 2nd Shift – Seneca, SC Area

HTI is hiring a Wastewater Operator for a manufacturing client in the Seneca, SC area. This is a direct hire, 2nd shift role operating and maintaining the onsite wastewater treatment system.

What You Need

• Valid South Carolina Class A, B, C, or D Wastewater Operator License (required)
• Experience with wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulations
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and documentation (logs, reports, compliance records)
• Comfort working in an industrial/plant environment and responding to urgent issues
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and on a team

What Your Role Will Look Like

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and related equipment
• Track plant performance through controls and manual readings, and complete required logs and reports
• Maintain compliance with DHEC discharge permits and all environmental regulations
• Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations, including occasional after-hours needs
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to keep the system running safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and support a strong safety culture
