Summary:
A Business/Purchasing Analyst manages warranty claims, part returns, ensures compliance with manufacturer and company policies, resolves product and/or service issues, and analyzes trends in products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with vendors to receive warranty claims accurately and promptly.
  • Verify coverage eligibility based on policy terms, product registration, and service records.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing and finance policies.
  • Analyze claims to identify patterns with part returns and warranty claims and report to Director.
  • Collaborate with field team to resolve warranty parts under disputes and lost inventory items and come to positive outcome for company.
  • Give monthly feedback to Director of Purchasing on process improvement for tracking and reconciling inventory.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to interpret policy documents and technical product information.
  • College degree required or 5+ years of finance or analyst experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Basic accounting background preferred.
  • Ability to hit multiple deadlines in given period.
  • Proficient in excel.
