As an Analista Funcional de Business Intelligence, you will play a critical role in transforming business requirements into actionable data insights. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement BI models, ensuring high-quality, accurate data supports decision-making across the organization. This role combines analytical rigor with strong technical expertise, providing opportunities to influence data strategy, optimize reporting processes, and train users to leverage BI tools effectively. Working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will contribute to innovative projects that enhance business performance and drive operational excellence. Your work will directly impact how teams access, interpret, and act upon critical data.

• Analyze and document business requirements for BI projects, translating them into functional specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into technical requirements for ETL processes and BI models.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of BI data.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users to maximize adoption and effective use of BI tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BI processes, reporting, and data quality.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with BI data modeling, including dimensional modeling (Star Schema and/or Snowflake).
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data from source systems and BI platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, including ETL mapping and data model construction.
• Familiarity with BI tools and reporting platforms, with attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Previous experience in a hybrid work environment, ideally with partial office presence (e.g., 3x per week in Lisbon).
