About This Position
Plumbing Instructor
$35 - $50 an hour
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Instructor on a parttime basis. The instructor will deliver high- quality, hands-on instruction in plumbing to adult learners, preparing them for careers in high-demand industries. The ideal candidate will combine technical skill, industry experience, demonstrated teaching ability, effective interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to workforce development and helping adult learners succeed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in plumbing, including theory and hands-on practice.
- Develop instructional materials, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards and student learning outcomes.
- Adapt instruction for adult learners, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and inclusion.
- Monitor and assess student progress; provide feedback, tutoring, and remediation as needed.
- At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in plumbing or related trades.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly to diverse student audiences.
- Reliable, organized, good at planning, with the ability to adapt lessons to varying student needs.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping, digital tools, learning management, etc.
- Applicable professional license (s).
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience.
- Experience with adult or non-traditional earners.
$35 - $50 an hour
