Erwin Electric is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex, large-scale commercial electrical projects and provide leadership to our project management team. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical leader who excels in strategic planning, risk mitigation, financial management, and driving project excellence from preconstruction through close-out.

As a senior leader, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, mentor project managers and field supervisors, and ensure that all projects uphold Erwin Electric’s high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

• Lead and manage multiple large-scale or high-value commercial electrical projects simultaneously.

• Provide strategic oversight of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.

• Serve as the senior liaison with general contractors, owners, engineers, and major stakeholders.

• Review project scope, design documents, and specifications to identify risks, conflicts, and value-engineering opportunities.

• Lead preconstruction efforts including estimating support, bid reviews, and material procurement strategies.

• Oversee financial performance of assigned projects, including forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and margin protection.

• Approve and manage complex change orders, RFIs, submittals, and contractual obligations.

• Conduct regular project reviews with field leadership to ensure quality installation, safety compliance, manpower efficiency, and adherence to project milestones.

• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Foremen to strengthen overall team performance.

• Support company-wide initiatives, process improvements, and best practices in project management.

• Promote a culture of safety and work proactively with the Safety Advisor to maintain compliance and reduce risk.

• Manage key client relationships, ensuring repeat business through exceptional service and communication.

• Strong executive-level leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• BSEE or Construction Management degree preferred.

• 8–10+ years of experience managing commercial electrical projects.

• 15+ years of electrical trade experience, including supervisory roles.

• Proven success managing large-scale, complex, or multi-phase commercial projects.

• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical plans, one-lines, specifications, and technical documents.

• Experience with Accubid for estimating and budgeting; proficiency with Bluebeam or similar tools is a plus.

• Deep understanding of electrical codes, commercial construction sequencing, project financials, and risk management.

• Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities.

Competitive senior-level compensation (based on experience)

• $110,000 - $130,000
