NextStar Energy (NSE) is Canada’s first large-scale battery manufacturing facility. Located in Windsor, Ontario, NextStar Energy is dedicated to the development and innovation of sustainable and efficient energy solutions, empowering the future of mobility.
The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.
NextStar Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Production Planning Specialist. We are seeking a highly skilled “Production Planning Specialist” to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for “Production Planning”. This role requires a strong understanding of “Planning”.
Responsibilities:
• Lead communication with the various stakeholders related to the production and results and report on progress.
• Proactively lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions when results deviate from plan.
• Management of on hand inventory to ensure levels support the production needs.
• Report on issues and problems that arise in the production process
• Extract and analyze data from internal systems to develop reports and visual insights that support decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• MS Office tool-based report writing (by using Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve team goals and targets
• Computational Skill, Troubleshooting, Problem-solving, Statistical knowledge
Preferred Requirements:
• 3+ years in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
