We are looking for a Narrative & Brand Strategy Lead to own Field AIs strategic narrative. This role defines, governs, and amplifies how the company is positioned as the category leader across all audiences and channels. Sitting at the intersection of brand strategy, content governance, PR, and digital experience, this role translates real product capability and traction into clear, credible, and scalable market narratives.
You will ensure that everything we say is strategic, provable, consistent, and amplified through the right internal and external voices at the right time. This is a high-leverage role with direct impact on credibility with customers, investors, analysts, and the broader ecosystem.
What Youll Get To Do- Own the brand map and distribution strategy, grounding decisions in clear analysis of audience behavior, channels, and market dynamics
- Own Field AIs category narrative and present the company as the credible category leader
- Translate real product capabilities and deployments into clear, defensible market messaging
- Define and govern narrative architecture, claims, proof points, and terminology
- Ensure consistent positioning across executives, investors, PR, sales, recruiting, and marketing
- Own canonical messaging, content priorities, and the editorial roadmap
- Set and enforce evidence standards and review processes for all external content
- Decide what narratives get amplified, when, and through which channels
- Coordinate amplification across employees, investors, partners, analysts, and influencers
- Own brand identity, voice, website narrative, and digital copy quality
- Partner with growth teams to improve conversion without sacrificing credibility
- Run social and public channels as proof-driven credibility platforms
- Own corporate communications, media relations, and executive public readiness
- Ensure external coverage accurately reflects what the product can truly do
- Experience in brand strategy, narrative development, corporate communications, or related roles
- Proven ownership of category positioning and company-level narrative in a technical or emerging market
- Strong ability to translate complex product and technical capabilities into clear, credible market language
- Experience owning canonical messaging, positioning frameworks, and claims governance
- Deep understanding of evidence-based storytelling and credibility-driven brand building
- Experience partnering closely with product, engineering, leadership, and go-to-market teams
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to set and enforce content standards
- Experience managing content review, approval, and governance processes
- Comfortable owning executive-facing communications and preparing leaders for public moments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to precision and consistency
- Experience defining or shaping a new category in a technical or frontier industry
- Background working with deeply technical products such as AI, robotics, autonomy, or infrastructure software
- Experience extracting insight from market signals to assess company positioning, narrative credibility, and category leadership
- Strong point of view on narrative discipline versus hype in emerging technology spaces
- Experience building brand systems and narrative frameworks from first principles
- Comfortable operating in fast-scaling, ambiguous environments with high ownership and accountability
- Experience guiding third-party amplification through partners, consultants, or influencers
- Ability to balance growth, demand generation, and narrative integrity without compromise
