Responsibilities

The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist role is to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the clinical activity schedule for patients, to comply with the multi-disciplinary treatment team plan. The Therapeutic Recreation Specialist will provide psycho-educational group for patients, families and other health care providers.

Qualifications

Required:

• One year in recreation therapy
• Bachelor Degree

Desired:

• One year in psychiatric care
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
