Position Summary

MicronPA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Driver / Warehouse Technician to support daily logistics, equipment handling, and customer service operations. This role is responsible for transporting customer equipment, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and pickups.

MiconPA is a full-service calibration laboratory supporting industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, and electronics, with both onsite and offsite services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Driving:

• Pick up and deliver customer equipment to and from client sites within the regional service area (typically within a multi-state radius)
• Safely operate company vehicles while maintaining a clean driving record
• Ensure proper handling and secure transport of sensitive calibration equipment
• Maintain delivery logs, chain-of-custody documentation, and customer paperwork
• Provide professional, customer-facing service during pickups and deliveries

Warehouse & Logistics:

• Receive, label, and organize incoming customer equipment
• Assist with shipping/receiving (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.)
• Prepare outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and staging areas
• Assist with inventory tracking and basic data entry

Operations Support:

• Coordinate with lab technicians and operations staff on job status and scheduling
• Assist in staging equipment for calibration or shipment
• Support general facility needs and light maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move equipment (typically up to 50 lbs+)
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
• Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Experience in warehouse, delivery, or logistics roles
• Experience handling technical, industrial, or sensitive equipment
• Familiarity with shipping systems or inventory software

Schedule:

• Part-time (flexible hours; typically, 10-20 hours/week)
• Occasional early mornings depending on delivery routes

Work Environment:

• Combination of warehouse setting and local/regional driving

• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting critical client operations
