The Senior Product Manager owns the full product management lifecycle for multiple products or a single complex product and is passionate about putting the customer first to deliver innovative banking solutions, outcomes, and experiences that enable customers to succeed.
- Sets the strategic direction of multiple products or a single complex product by defining and communicating the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and segment strategies.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders on customer research and leverages insights, competitive trends, internal data, and market feedback to identify product opportunities, close gaps, and enhance client satisfaction.
- Builds business cases for new value propositions and enhancements to existing offerings based on customer needs and competitive landscape. Responsible for financial analysis including feasibility assessments, and profitability - pricing, operational costs, and recurring revenue.
- Develops and manages product features, pricing, strategies and service roadmaps by prioritizing initiatives aligned with market insights, competitive analysis, and corporate objectives to ensure successful launches and continuous enhancement.
- Serves as a consumer credit card subject matter expert (SME), collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand customer needs, make informed decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify opportunities for innovation, and deliver product definitions responsive to customer needs.
- Defines, measures, and provides visibility into product metrics including performance, acquisition, and usability, with emphasis on achieving OKRs.
- Accountable for the financial success and viability of complex products, including profitability and overall outcomes.
- Defines product specifications, timelines, and integrated plans; translates business needs into technical requirements.
- Manages ongoing relationships with internal and external strategic partners, including contract oversight, negotiations, performance reviews, and coordination of growth initiatives through marketing programs.
- Guides cross‑functional teams and maintains effective relationships with credit card brands and strategic partners to maximize product strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, marketing, or related field.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management and end‑to‑end product delivery and customer journey.
- Experience analyzing data to understand customer behavior and derive insights.
- Experience with financial and profitability analysis, business case development, budgeting, and funding approvals.
- Experience in credit cards, payments, or financial services.
- Managing complex projects or programs in critical environments.
- Market research and familiarity with customer‑centric design thinking principles.
- Experience working in cross‑functional product teams delivering consumer‑focused products.
- Knowledge of financial lending industry
- Strong financial knowledge
- Dedicated, high-energy, creative, self-starter who has excellent drive for getting results
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- High Level of organization to establish priorities, simultaneously work with multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand key performance analytics and leverage date to make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills (Spanish and English)
- Ability in designing effective presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI.
- Availability to travel on and off the island
