Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient statements and reconciling outstanding items.
• Maintaining account receivable reports.
• Communicating with employers, insurance companies, and patients regarding delinquent accounts.
• Submitting appeals to insurance carriers and independently composing correspondence.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Associates degree in a related field.
• Previous experience in healthcare collection/billing.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding.

Salary: $22-$27/hr
