You will join a fast-growing global technology environment building secure, scalable infrastructure for next-generation payment systems used by leading international brands. In this role, you will embed security across cloud, development, and DevOps workflows, ensuring that systems are resilient, compliant, and built with security by design. You will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen cloud security across AWS and GCP while automating controls through modern infrastructure practices. Your work will directly impact the security posture of high-scale, globally distributed payment systems operating across dozens of countries. You will help design and implement tools and processes that enable secure innovation without slowing down delivery. Operating in a highly technical and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in integrating security into every stage of the software lifecycle. This is a hands-on engineering role where security, automation, and scalability converge.
You will be responsible for strengthening cloud and application security by designing tools, implementing controls, and embedding security best practices across engineering workflows:
- Design, build, and maintain internal security tools and automation using Python to support security operations and enhance technical controls
- Improve and manage cloud security configurations across AWS and GCP, including IAM policies, WAF, Security Hub, SIEM integrations, and related services
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001/27701
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycle
- Evaluate and support secure adoption of emerging technologies, including cloud-native and AI-driven architectures
- Contribute to incident prevention, detection, and response improvements through monitoring and security engineering initiatives
- Ensure consistent application of security best practices across distributed systems and containerized environments
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on cross-functional security initiatives
You are a hands-on security engineer with strong cloud expertise, automation skills, and experience embedding security into modern engineering environments:
- 4+ years of experience in security engineering or similar technical security roles
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building internal security tools or platforms
- Solid experience with AWS and GCP security services and configurations
- Practical knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001/27701
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into DevOps workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work across engineering and infrastructure teams
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes and container security
- Nice to have: familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools
- Nice to have: experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
