About This Position
Reporting to a Direct Support Supervisor and the company executives, the Data Integrity Manager will primarily perform but not limited to duties in the company’s Waiver department, i.e., processing submitted time as well as reviewing case notes. The Data Integrity Manager will also provide training and guidance to ensure a DSP understands how and when to submit clear and concise documentation in a timely manner. The Data Integrity Manager will work closely with and be an integral part of the Waiver Team to ensure completion of tasks within the department and the company overall. All team members must have a willingness to accept and model the culture of Myers-Davis Life Coaching with all staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring time submitted by Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) on the company’s current work time and note submission software system.
- Auditing notes submitted by the DSPs to ensure DHS standards are being met and goals listed in the consumers plan are being addressed.
- Reviewing mileage submitted by the DSPs to ensure it has been recorded correctly, is within the plan’s guidelines, and has been submitted in a timely manner.
- Working with DSPs to ensure the correct work schedules are being kept and staying within the allotted units.
- As needed, conduct training with the DSP’s to familiarize staff with the current software programs for recording time and case notes.
- Regular communication with the DSS’s to ensure times and schedules are correct for each DSP, as well as prior approval for all overtime.
- Submitting approved regular time and over time to payroll and billing each payroll cycle.
- Communicating with the DSS directly on goals, overtime, and guiding DSPs who may be struggling with notes, or the clocking in and out process.
- High school diploma or GED required. College education in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
- Language skills, mathematical skills, reasoning ability apply (including reading, writing, interpreting documents/instructions, speaking effectively, calculating figures/amounts, basic algebra/geometry, practical problem solving)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet browser.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of the team to accomplish shared goals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
