Backwoods plays an essential role for our clients and the public. The INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ADMIN position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. They preserve order while enforcing regulations for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the general site.

Shift: Monday - Friday
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have an Alberta Security License.
- Standard First Aid w. CPR & AED
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test (including marijuana)
- WHMIS certification
- CSTS 2020
- 1-year Industrial Experience a MUST
- Ability to handle a fast paced and dynamic environment. Ensuring consistent operational procedures are executed in an orderly fashion.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in changing environments and potential emergency situations.
- Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions including writing comprehensive reports.
Essential Job Functions:
- Represent Backwoods with a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, as well as effective communication skills in dealing with clients, site personnel, emergency personnel, and the public.
- Writing detailed and accurate reports regarding all incidents
- Providing a high degree of customer service in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Ability to de-escalate situations that may arise and liaise with emergency personnel; provide support.
- Capability to work a rotational shift schedule. Shift times, rotation, and hours vary.
