Team Leader - 2nd Shift at The Healing Place – Louisville, Kentucky

This position is responsible for facilitating activities on a designated shift to ensure effective and efficient supervision of assigned facility and its clients.

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts as point person for designated shift operations, providing supervision of assigned facility and its residents
• Enforces policies and procedures of the facility
• Ensures client and staff safety
• Performs hourly rounds throughout the entire facility
• Ensures accountability of clients to the facility policies guidelines
• Observes and documents any client behavior not adhering to facility guidelines
• Performs client admissions and assesses appropriate housing needs of new arrivals to the facility
• Properly documents any discharges from the facility
• Provides operational services of Monitors Office (Parole Plan, Resident Verification, etc.)
• Responds to any medical situation that occurs within the facility
• Makes medications available to clients in a responsible fashion and properly document
• Ensures the facility and grounds are kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition
• Facilitates contraband searches of clients and their rooms
• Facilitates and documents drug screening of clients
• Assists Detox and Overnight Staff as needed

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• RPSS or CADC or ability to obtain either
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Active Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire
• CPR Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to resolve conflict
• Strong organization and effective time management skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
