WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR II 

OVERVIEW 

Performs administrative and clerical duties to ensure accuracy of documentation regarding shipping and receiving operations. Directs and participates in procedures to safely load, store, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas. Uses physical tasks, computers, packing equipment, and various communication and coordination skills to manage and control a functional subsection of the overall inventory control operation. Is accountable for the results achieved in the area assigned. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Follow all departmental and quality procedures by assuring that products are prepared for shipments properly and delivered according to specified target date windows. 
  • Proactively oversees material control operations and makes personnel, equipment, and resource recommendations to ensure on-time completion and delivery to all downstream internal/external operations. 
  • Performs all required AX transactions and paperwork preparation. Responds in a timely manner to expedite requests and inquiries. 
  • Works to find process efficiency and process improvements in order to meet or exceed KPIs for the area assigned. 
  • Monitors AX reports on key area information frequently throughout the day. 
  • Monitors needed supplies and orders replacement materials when needed. Is knowledgeable on material shortages.  
  • Organizes workflow to meet prioritization rules and guidelines. 
  • Reports regularly to management on assigned area operational metrics to include continued departmental improvements. 
  • Continually ensure that all safety procedures are followed and areas of responsibility are clean and organized.  
  • Verifies accuracy of records on incoming and outgoing shipments and maintains files of records. 
  • Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel for repairs. 
  • Collaborates with Customer Service and Plant Management to ensure any special shipping requirements are met. 
  • Performs weekly manual inventory of warehouse.  
  • Serves on related committees and participates in meetings as required. 
  • Actively supports the defined goals and objectives of the company. 
  • Projects a professional, total-quality image in all aspects of this position. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates. 


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

  • 3+ years of related warehouse/material control experience. 
  • 3+ years of data entry experience.  
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.  
  • Working knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping software. 
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM. 
  • Ability tomultitask 
  • Good understanding of warehouse practices and procedures. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Good oral and written business communication skills.  

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

Up to 10% travel may be required 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be required to walk for prolonged periods of time, frequently bending, climbing, rotating, squatting, reaching, kneeling, or stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and periods of computer use. 

Employees may be frequently exposed to heat/cold, heights, gases, vibration, dust, chemicals, odors, dampness, fumes, and noises.
