Grasslands Club is elevating the private club experience — and our culinary team is at the heart of it. With two beautiful lakefront properties, a brand-new Fairvue Clubhouse opening soon, and exceptional dining outlets across the club, we are looking for a driven, creative, and hands-on Sous Chef who is passionate about food, leadership, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

At Grasslands Club, we live our mission of Making Memories Matter. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in shaping our culinary identity, supporting high-volume operations, and mentoring a talented team committed to excellence.

- Support the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets

- Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff to ensure strong performance, consistency, and high morale

- Maintain culinary standards and consistency in presentation, taste, and quality

- Assist in menu development, specials, seasonal offerings, and banquet/event menus

- Oversee food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health guidelines

- Ensure efficient kitchen organization, prep systems, inventory control, and ordering procedures

- Collaborate with FOH teams to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences

- Help execute high-volume events, weddings, golf tournaments, and specialty dinners

- Uphold the club’s core values: Service, Integrity, Accountability, Positivity & Hustle

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Lead Line Cook in an upscale or high-volume kitchen

- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing a team

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

- Creativity, professionalism, and a commitment to culinary excellence
