Warehouse Delivery Driver (Concord & Salisbury branches) at Hubbard Pipe & Supply Inc – Concord, North Carolina

Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. The Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring customers receive accurate and timely deliveries by safely operating a 26 ft. box truck. This position also assists in loading orders and occasionally supports general warehouse functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-first environment and has a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26 ft. box truck based out of our Concord branch
• Complete deliveries for both the Concord and Salisbury branches as needed
• Provide warehouse support at the Salisbury branch, including cycle counts and general inventory tasks when not on deliveries
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain required signatures and documentation
• Provide friendly, professional service at each delivery stop
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized truck
• Follow assigned delivery routes and communicate delays or issues
• Represent Hubbard Supplyhouse with a professional and courteous attitude
• Communicate clearly with customers, warehouse staff, and dispatch
• Report product damage, shortages, or delivery issues promptly
• Assist in problem-solving delivery-related concerns as needed
• Support warehouse operations at both Concord and Salisbury branches as needed
• Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and general warehouse tasks during non-delivery periods

Required:

****** An active DOT Medical Card is required.*****

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical after employment offer
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical labor
• High attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Prior warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles
• Familiarity with plumbing, irrigation, or construction supply products
• Experience using handheld scanners, GPS, or routing systems
• Customer service experience in delivery or field service environments
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
