The Opportunity

Prospect Schools is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Operations Coordinator for the 26-27 School Year. The essential duties & responsibilities include:

Front Office management

  • Greet visitors and follow proper visitor sign-in protocols

  • Manage front desk and office space

Family Communication

  • Maintains and manages family facing communications

  • Writes official school letters, creates flyers, and drafts email announcements

  • Manages a high volume of internals and external communications including the primary phone line and email account for the school

  • Manages requests for interpretation services and translations into Spanish

Student Data & Compliance Support

  • Support Registrar with student information management & compliance reporting

  • Support with issuing student working papers and student enrollment verification letters as needed

Technology Support

  • Support the distribution of assigned student technology (ie, Chromebooks)

  • Maintain main office systems for tracking borrowed & returned student devices

  • Serve as support for classroom technology concerns, escalating to the Prospect Schools IT Team as needed.

General School Operations Support

  • Handle school wide purchasing

  • Organizing storage rooms and curriculum rooms

  • Staging for special events and family events

  • Plan and implement trainings and workshops for faculty and staff on operations areas of ownership

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws

  • Contribute toward the development of standard operating procedures in all areas of influence, and continue to find new ways to improve quality and efficiency

About You

  • A bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.

  • Highly organized and attentive to details

  • Warm and welcoming

  • Collaborative spirit and able to problem solve

Salary

The salary range for this role starts at $55,000, then increases based on years of experience. Our salaries are set through a lens of equity, and based on an individual’s skills, education, and years of experience relevant to the role. At Prospect Schools we remain committed to providing competitive salaries.
