Job Summary

The Regional Operations Manager drives performance across multiple branch locations and entities. This role is responsible for service fulfillment, operational continuity, compliance oversight, financial performance, and Client satisfaction while developing Branch Leadership and stabilizing new or underperforming locations. The Regional Operations Manager ensures consistent execution of operational deliverables, accountability to KPIs, and compliant service standards across the region.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel frequently to fill critical role vacancies, maintaining business continuity during open positions
  • Travel frequently to each site, ensuring standardized operations across multiple entities, and driving performance across financial, workforce utilization, service fulfillment, compliance, and Client satisfaction metrics
  • Ensure operational fulfillment of staffing plans, service commitments, and day-to-day Branch deliverables
  • Analyze KPIs, identify performance gaps, and execute action plans to improve results across supported locations
  • Coach, develop, and hold Administrators and Branch staff accountable for performance, compliance, and operational standards
  • Conduct comprehensive Orientations for all Operations New Hires, creating ongoing training plans and ensuring regular training check ins and continued training gap analysis during their first few months of employment
  • Standardize and enforce processes, policies, and best practices across locations to ensure consistency, compliance, and service excellence
  • Act as on-site leadership for all industry Surveys, ensuring successful Survey outcomes
  • Stabilize new or underperforming branches through targeted action plans, workflow improvements, and leadership support
  • Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews to assess performance, engagement, compliance, and service quality
  • Resolve complex operational, staffing, and client service issues across assigned locations
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of branch leadership to build a strong leadership pipeline
  • Oversee new hire training and onboarding to ensure consistency, readiness, and adoption of company practices
  • Own execution of regional operational deliverables, reporting requirements, and key business initiatives
  • Fill in operationally as needed to support branch continuity and leadership coverage
  • Attend industry conferences, providing concise reports and deliverables to Leadership

  • Respond promptly and professionally to business needs, Client concerns, Caregiver issues, and operational disruptions
  • Maintain accurate, timely and compliant records and documents
  • Exercise sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Caregivers, Clients, families, and internal teams
  • Adhere to all Company policies, confidentiality rules, safety requirements and regulatory obligations including HIPAA
  • Work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and performing the critical day-to-day duties independently with minimal supervision

Education and Experience

  • Experience managing multiple locations
  • At least 4 years progressive management experience in healthcare related field
  • At least 4 years experience in home care, healthcare, or a related people service-based industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Communication, or a related field

Working Conditions

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (office environment)
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment or tools required for the position
  • Ability to move about the work area and between sites as needed

Work Location: Caring for Portland

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

Required Travel: Travel to Branches and Clients, up to 80% - 100%, Company vehicle provided
