As a junior member of the Implementation team, you will collaborate with other highly skilled technical staff, across DataBank, who are responsible for the engineering of the cloud compute, disaster recovery, storage, backup, OS and application layers of DataBank's overall product stack and internal systems. This position's primary responsibilities will be to assist in basic tasks quickly and efficiently to lighten the workload of the more senior members of the team. We expect you to have the basic tools and aptitude but we will teach you what you don't know. Attitude and a hunger to learn are the best attributes for this position. We're looking to pull the go to person in a smaller support team and bring them up to our level.

This role will require daily interactions with technical and non-technical customers and decision makers via phone, video conferencing, email, chat and occasional in-person meetings. Effective written, verbal and expressive communications are a vital component to this positions success. Effective customer service skills, a personable demeanor, follow through, and effective organizational, problem solving and time management skills are imperatives.

Primary responsibilities and duties include:

· Customer On-boarding – using our existing Customer Portal to walk customers through getting connected to their new servers, and developing a list of tasks to get them up and running

· Assist in basic tasks such as: Point to point tunnel configuration, new user DUO setup, Cloudflare staging, data and database migrations, ACL updates, custom scripting on repeatable tasks

· Stage and Migrate systems – Assist customers in getting their web apps and databases moved over to your newly staged environment for testing and troubleshooting. Help them plan a successful cutover to ensure a smooth and painless transition between the old and new environment

· Work with the Project Management team on larger implementations and project manage smaller projects directly.

· Create well written and concise documentation for all deployed platforms

· Meet project deadlines and manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects while adhering to a time allocation model.

· Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

· Make decisions and judgments based on standard procedures. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload and adapt to changing business conditions

· Proactive, upbeat and collaborative communication style, with the ability to be direct, tactful, and transparent.

· Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills

· Other duties as assigned

Organizational Considerations:

Candidates must have the ability to prioritize projects and/or tasks. This position requires regular scheduled and occasional unscheduled work to be performed after business hours. In the case of outages / critical incidents, the candidate must be able to work alone or within a team environment until the problem is resolved.

Certifications, Education and Experience:

2-4 years of Experience in multiple web technologies:

· Web Servers (IIS, Apache, NGINX)

· Database Servers (MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

· Web Based Programming Languages (.NET, PHP, ColdFusion, Javascript)

· RDS Farms, exchange servers, Terminal Services

· Virtualization (VMWare)

· Firewalls/VPN (Cisco)

· Basic knowledge of protocols and services including: TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, FTP, telnet, ping, SSH, and HTTP/HTTPS

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science a plus but not required

· Equivalent work experience can be substituted for college education
