Admissions Coordinator at Behavioral Center of Michigan – Warren, Michigan

The Admitting Coordinator is responsible for signing in patients at the time of their admission to the hospital. In addition, admitting staff verifies patients’ information, including their insurance information in conjunction with Billing and Utilization Review, and ensures that the patients receive their admission packet and sign all necessary forms. Admitting staff also addresses any concerns patients may have about the admission packet. Qualifications:

·High School Diploma or equivalent

·1-2 years experience in a health care setting

·Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing
