Job Description – Lease Inventory and Disposition Manager

Summary
The Lease Inventory & Fleet Disposition Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of vehicle acquisition and remarketing. This role serves as the primary point of contact for purchasing, evaluating, pricing, and selling vehicles across the fleet. The ideal candidate has extensive automotive industry experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of buying, selling, and remarketing fleet vehicles.
  • Oversee lease return evaluations, inspections, and disposition decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle inventory records.
  • Coordinate with vendors, dealerships, auctions, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze market conditions to determine optimal pricing and sale timing.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements.
  • Track vehicle condition, mileage, maintenance records, and depreciation.
  • Prepare forecasts and reporting on inventory levels, turnover, and resale performance.
  • Optimize fleet lifecycle strategies to reduce cost and increase value.
  • Implement and maintain standardized processes for acquisition and disposal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, fleet management, remarketing, or dealership operations.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle valuation, wholesale/retail markets, and buying/selling processes.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy.
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management experience.
  • Proficiency in inventory systems, fleet management platforms, and Excel or similar tools.
  • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
