Warehouse Truck Driver at D Clark Electric Inc – St. Petersburg, Florida

Position Summary

Clark Electric is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Warehouse & Delivery Truck Driver to support our field crews and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites, assisting with loading and unloading, and helping maintain an organized warehouse when deliveries are light.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — part driving, part warehouse support — and wants a consistent weekday schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical materials, tools, and equipment to job sites throughout Central Florida (with occasional statewide travel)
• Safely operate a 12-foot flatbed truck
• Occasionally transport equipment including a mini excavator using a trailer
• Load and unload materials at the warehouse and job sites
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport
• Inspect vehicle daily and report maintenance or safety issues
• Assist warehouse staff with organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing orders
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and obtain signatures when required
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT driving regulations

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs regularly
• Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a flatbed truck and towing a trailer (training available if limited experience)
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Basic knowledge of tools, construction materials, or electrical supplies preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in warehouse during slower delivery days
• Must be able to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions

Work Hours

• Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Occasional earlier start times or later finish times depending on delivery schedules (infrequent)
