Medical Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our busy Obstetrical and Gynecological clinic is seeking qualified medical personnel to assist with patient care. We are located on the 6th floor of the Willis-Knighton Pierremont Medical office building, which joins the hospital. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting the physician with office procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, non-stress tests, and LEEP conizations of the cervix. Other job duties will include phlebotomy, administration of medications including injections, insurance preautherization for pending surgery and returning patient phone calls in a timely and professional manner. The candidate with previous OB-GYN experience will be given first consideration, but a new graduate with an excellent work ethic, enthusiasm, and a willingness to excel will be considered.
