About This Position
Summary The electrician for Beaumont TX is responsible for troubleshooting complex control circuits and must demonstrate competency in induction and synchronous motors, transformers, capacitors, battery systems, lighting and power circuits. The electrician will utilize test equipment in the detection of voltage, current, resistance, leakage, circuit tracing, ground detection, and electronic component troubleshooting. Installation of electrical systems from conduit installation through conductor termination. |

Physical Demands Must be able to climb, bend, sit, walk, kneel, crawl, stand, push, and pull frequently. Must maintain 3-point contact while climbing ladders. Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently and ability to lift, up to, 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to wear the following safety equipment when needed; life vests, ear protection, rubber gloves, leather gloves, hard hat, slicker suit, acid suit, rubber gloves, full face breathing mask, wearing full safety harness, or wearing a face shield. The heavy work will require exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally. |
