Overview:
Intermountain Home Services is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across all business units. This position is responsible for turning complex data into actionable insights that guide operational strategy, improve margins, and drive alignment between financial goals and company-wide initiatives.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical and business-minded finance professional who thrives on collaboration, accuracy, and delivering clear guidance to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Analyze operational and financial performance across departments and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare monthly and quarterly variance reports and executive dashboards
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support planning and strategic initiatives
- Partner with department leaders to ensure alignment between actuals and financial targets
- Monitor KPIs and provide insights that help improve profitability, efficiency, and growth
- Support ad-hoc analysis and scenario planning to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with accounting on monthly close to ensure accurate reporting and accruals
- Help implement financial systems, planning tools, and reporting automation as needed
- Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or strategic analysis
- Advanced Excel modeling and strong proficiency in financial software (Power BI, Vena, Sage, etc.)
- Expert level experience in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering in a multi-department environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
