This role is focused on leading high-impact executive recruiting efforts across multiple business functions in a fast-scaling, mission-driven environment. You will be responsible for driving full-cycle searches for senior leadership roles, including VP and C-level positions, while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. The work is highly strategic, requiring strong business acumen, discretion, and the ability to influence hiring decisions at the highest levels. You will design and execute tailored search strategies to attract top-tier executive talent while ensuring a world-class candidate experience. This is a flexible contract role with the opportunity to scale hours based on business needs.
- Lead full-cycle executive recruitment processes for senior and C-level roles across multiple functions including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Partner closely with senior leadership to define hiring needs, align talent strategies, and support long-term organizational planning.
- Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber passive executive talent.
- Build and manage strong pipelines of leadership candidates while maintaining ongoing relationships for current and future hiring needs.
- Design structured, competency-based interview processes that ensure consistency, fairness, and strong candidate experience.
- Advise hiring teams on evaluation, reference checks, compensation discussions, and final hiring decisions.
- Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles across all stages of executive search and selection.
- Represent the organization externally with professionalism, confidentiality, and strong employer branding awareness.
- Continuously improve recruiting practices through documentation, process refinement, and best practice development.
- 7+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 4+ years in executive search or senior-level hiring in high-growth or agency environments.
- Proven success placing Director, VP, and C-level talent across multiple business functions.
- Strong understanding of executive assessment methods, leadership competencies, and organizational design principles.
- Deep sourcing expertise using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other executive search platforms.
- High emotional intelligence with strong judgment and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for executive-level candidates.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment practices, particularly in remote and distributed hiring contexts.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive hiring practices and improving leadership representation.
- Ability to manage confidential, high-stakes searches with discretion and professionalism.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $70 per hour depending on location and experience
- Flexible part-time contract with potential to scale up to 40 hours per week
