About this Opportunity:

This position will efficiently package and prepare shipments per M.O.I.’s & W.I.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all packages have correct labels. Check paperwork against labels for accuracy.
  • Accurately count parts prior to shipping to customer/vendor using scale to ensure accurate sample sizes and counts are maintained.
  • Properly package order to ensure safe delivery to vendors/customers in accordance with M.O.I.’s & W.I.
  • Responsible for shipping components/parts to outside service.
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining weekly and monthly inventory of parts. Make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain product identification on all containers stored in shipping area.
  • Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, as required.
  • May be required to operate a forklift.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment by following 6S standards.
  • Properly follow all H&M procedures and policies.?
  • Use correct P.P.E per JHAs.? Inspect and maintain P.P.E. appropriately; required to wear safety shoes with the standard F2412 and F2413 rating.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including the Idea System.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • High School or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to do basic math in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as needed basis.
