Summary:

As the Business Analyst – Shipping & Warehouse, you are responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, and system optimization. This role bridges operational execution (kitting, shipping, and receiving) with data analysis and system improvements to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the supply chain.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including kitting, shipping, and receiving to ensure accuracy and on-time fulfillment
  • Maintain and control inventory by ensuring accurate stock levels, proper transactions, and timely reconciliation
  • Monitor and improve inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Ensure correct material allocation and availability to support production and customer orders
  • Support the development and implementation of warehouse and inventory system improvements
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure systems meet operational needs
  • Create and maintain project and system documentation (e.g., SOPs, test plans, process flows)
  • Test and troubleshoot warehouse and business systems to ensure functionality and data integrity
  • Review current workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
  • Provide system and operational support to Production and Planning teams
  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between warehouse, planning, and business operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

  • Formal training in Production Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics Management an asset;
  • 2+ years of experience working in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management for a multi-million dollar corporation;
  • Experienced in the handling creating and preparation of shipping documents for international/domestic shipping;
  • Knowledgeable of secure tariff rulings with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency;
  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing environment, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
