POSITION: Substance Abuse Therapist
LOCATION: Paducah, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:
● TCADC, CADC LCADCA, LCADC, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or LPA licensure (required)
● experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment (preferred)
● While we welcome applicants who are in recovery, Kentucky regulations require that our team members have two years of sobriety.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:
● provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions
● determine appropriate treatment interventions for each patient
● collaborate with each patient on a treatment plan
● help patients set and achieve their personal goals
● maintain records and provide documentation according to Stepworks policies
● develop continuing care plans
● serve as the first point of contact for patients’ behavioral issues
● participate in four hours of supervision monthly
● be prepared for crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (training provided)

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
