This role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company located in Germantown, WI. The ideal candidate would be open to hybrid work out of our Germantown facility.

You will lead transportation and distribution operations related support as well as develop transportation processes and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manages Third-Party Transportation Management System
- Exception shipment management
- Point of contact for more complex issues with third-party vendors to obtain quotes for domestic and international transportation
- Evaluates freight forwarder performance and defines process
- Supporting transportation functions for the organization

Qualifications
5+ years of related transportation operations experience and/or training
Post high school education in a related field of study, such as Supply Chain
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong customer service skills
- Thorough and attentive to details
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of self-direction
- Demonstrates sense of urgency
- Understanding of transportation network
- Exposure and understanding of International and domestic transportation
- Ability to achieve operational savings
- Ability to assess processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Travel- 0-5%
