Job Summary
The Seasonal Laborer supports construction and field operations during peak work periods by performing a variety of manual labor tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions. The position contributes to project efficiency by assisting skilled trades and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
Primary Job Duties
Perform general labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal.
•Assist skilled workers (carpenters, operators, masons, etc.) with basic tasks as needed.
Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Support site preparation activities including digging, lifting, carrying, and moving earth or materials.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Support supervisors and crew leaders on assigned tasks to keep projects on schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, etc.).
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Preferred (but not required):
Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor.
Familiarity with hand tools and basic equipment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Schedule
•Seasonal, with hours depending on project needs.
•Overtime or weekend work may be required based on workload and weather.
Work Environment
Outdoor construction or field environment.
Exposure to weather conditions, noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
