This role sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, and digital culture, transforming social media performance into actionable insights that shape high-impact marketing campaigns. You will analyze organic (and occasionally paid) social performance across multiple platforms, identifying what drives engagement, conversion, and audience loyalty. Working within a fast-paced creative agency environment, you will partner closely with strategy, creative, and account teams to guide campaign optimization through data. The role requires both analytical rigor and a strong understanding of social trends, fan communities, and digital behavior. You will help translate complex datasets into clear narratives that influence campaign direction and client decisions. This is an opportunity to directly shape how entertainment and consumer brands connect with audiences online.
In this role, you will analyze social media performance data and turn insights into strategic recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement. You will play a key role in connecting analytics, creative strategy, and community behavior across multiple digital platforms.
- Analyze social media campaign performance across organic channels (and occasionally paid media) to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visual presentations to communicate performance insights and campaign results.
- Conduct social listening and audience research to uncover trends, behaviors, and fan community dynamics.
- Evaluate engagement, conversion, and content performance to assess the effectiveness of messaging and creative strategies.
- Identify emerging social trends and recommend how they can be applied to ongoing and future campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, account, and partnerships teams to integrate data-driven insights into campaign planning.
- Translate complex data sets into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders and clients.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, measurement methodologies, and analytics processes.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in social media analytics, a deep understanding of platform behavior, and the ability to turn data into compelling insights. You are highly detail-oriented, curious about digital culture, and confident communicating with both technical and creative teams.
- Previous experience in a social media analytics or digital insights role.
- Experience analyzing social media campaigns, ideally within entertainment or digital media environments.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms, their algorithms, and digital marketing ecosystems.
- Proven ability to use analytics to improve campaign performance and inform strategy.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills, including data cleaning, interpretation, and insight generation.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable storytelling for stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in or with digital agencies is strongly preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $55,000 – $67,000 depending on experience and location
