In this role, you will lead complex modeling and simulation projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and global clients to optimize development programs from study design through regulatory submission. - Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver client-focused pharmacometric consulting projects and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the primary scientific and strategic contact for clients, providing expert guidance on modeling and simulation applications throughout drug development programs.
- Develop, evaluate, and apply advanced population PK, PK/PD, and exposure-response models using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Design and oversee pharmacometric analyses, simulations, and data interpretation to support clinical pharmacology and regulatory decision-making.
- Prepare pharmacometric reports, regulatory documentation, and scientific deliverables aligned with global regulatory standards and expectations.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships and trusted advisory support.
- Mentor and support junior scientists by sharing technical expertise, scientific knowledge, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of internal standards, methodologies, workflows, and training materials.
- Support business development activities through proposal development, consulting presentations, workshops, and promotion of service offerings.
- Represent scientific excellence and contribute to the continued advancement of consulting services and organizational expertise.
- Master’s degree in pharmacometrics, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, PK/PD, statistics, engineering, or a related scientific discipline required.
- PhD in a relevant field preferred.
- 12+ years of professional experience in population PK and PK/PD modeling within clinical pharmacology or related environments preferred.
- Strong expertise in pharmacometric software and programming tools including Monolix, NONMEM, and R.
- Demonstrated experience applying modeling and simulation strategies to drug development and clinical research programs.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex scientific projects and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience mentoring, training, or supervising scientific staff is highly valued.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fully remote and collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, trainings, meetings, and client engagements.
- Competitive salary ranging from $185,000 to $215,000 annually
