This is a mission-driven volunteer role focused on strengthening corporate giving and employee engagement programs that support STEM education for underserved middle school girls. You will play a key role in managing donation platforms, ensuring accurate tracking of contributions, and improving the overall efficiency of corporate philanthropy operations. The role blends operations, stakeholder coordination, and light development work to uncover new funding opportunities through corporate platforms. You will also help maintain and optimize data across systems while ensuring timely recognition of donors and volunteers. Working in a fully virtual, impact-driven environment, you will contribute directly to expanding access to STEM education through improved fundraising processes. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, resourceful, and motivated by social impact.
You will be responsible for managing corporate donation platforms, ensuring accurate processing of contributions, and supporting the expansion of funding and volunteer engagement opportunities.
- Maintain and update corporate donation platform information (e.g., credentials, organizational details, payment information)
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all donations in Salesforce
- Issue donor acknowledgment and thank-you communications in a timely manner
- Track and manage volunteer hours linked to corporate “Dollars for Doers” programs
- Communicate with new volunteers participating in corporate matching or donation programs
- Research and identify new corporate philanthropy platforms and funding opportunities
- Analyze how companies use donation and volunteer platforms to increase engagement
- Keep organizational profiles up to date across all relevant corporate platforms
- Support continuous improvement of donation tracking and recognition processes
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with an interest in corporate philanthropy, social impact, and operational excellence in a digital environment.
- Strong interest in social impact, education equity, or nonprofit development
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to learn and navigate web-based platforms and digital tools
- Experience in corporate social responsibility, HR programs, fundraising, or donor management is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, G-Suite, Slack, or similar platforms
- Experience leading or managing initiatives or teams is preferred
- Comfortable working in a fully virtual, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder and donor interaction
- Flexible availability for occasional coordination with external partners during business hours
