About the Position:

We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic clinician to join our outpatient team and lead meaningful group experiences that support clients on their recovery journey. The Outpatient Group Clinician is responsible for providing best-in-class group facilitation with the purpose of creating an individualized recovery experience that incorporates the mind, body, and spirit of each client. The Outpatient Group Clinician facilitates group therapy across a range of outpatient services, including specialized group offerings, and provides crisis intervention as needed.

Schedule:

Part-Time, Approximately 25 hours per week

Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Your Role:

  • Lead engaging outpatient group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches
  • Create a supportive and inclusive group environment that fosters connection and growth
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
  • Respond to clinical needs in real time, including crisis intervention when necessary
  • Support drug and alcohol screening processes as needed
  • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active New York provisional license/permit (LMSW, MHC-LP, or MFT-LP) required
  • Independent licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) strongly preferred
  • Experience facilitating group therapy required
  • Outpatient or substance use treatment experience preferred

Compensation:

Rates vary based on the nature of the work performed (clinical vs. non-clinical responsibilities), as well as experience and credentials. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions. This is not a fee-for-service position.

  • Non-clinical hours: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour
  • Clinical hours: $65.00 – $90.00 per hour
