About This Position

Job Summary
- Provides indirect care in the outpatient/surgery area under the supervision of an RN. Communicates with physicians, RN's, managers and co-workers related to scheduling needs, status and changes. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.

Regulatory Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least two (2) previous years of related healthcare experience specifically with surgical or procedural scheduling. Understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation which must be demonstrated through prior education or work history.

Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- EMR experience is preferred.
