Under minimal direction of the Healthcare Technology Manager, performs technical work of moderate to considerable difficulty in the maintenance and repair of Healthcare Technology within the Shannon Health System. Demonstrates to others knowledge of fundamentals of electronics, use of test calibration equipment, ability to perform maintenance, ability to troubleshoot medical devices, and repair the medical equipment. Specializes knowledge around critical medical equipment with the goal of eliminating cost to hospital e.g., defibrillators, electrosurgical units, sterilization devices, and various medical devices.
