Psychiatrist - Institutional Mental Health Services at Top Tier Reps LLC – Leavenworth, Kansas

Our client, a trusted institutional healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to lead mental health services in a correctional facility. This role is ideal for a dedicated clinician with strong leadership skills, passionate about making a meaningful impact in underserved environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric care including evaluations, DSM diagnoses, and medication management.
• Supervise and collaborate with mental health staff to coordinate treatment plans and therapeutic programs.
• Lead administrative and operational functions including compliance, documentation, and reporting.
• Participate in crisis interventions, disciplinary cases, and civil commitment processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal and state regulations (HIPAA, NCCHC, ACA).
• Collaborate with legal, security, and administrative teams; support community and staff engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in psychiatry, psychology, or a related clinical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Active state license (or license eligibility) to practice psychiatry in Kansas.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, including 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $275,000–$350,000 DOE
